About the Role
We are hiring a Parks Maintenance Worker to help maintain our city’s public spaces. This role involves landscaping, equipment maintenance, and general upkeep of parks and recreational areas to ensure they remain clean, safe, and enjoyable for the community.
Responsibilities
- Maintain lawns, plants, and trees in park areas
- Clean and maintain park facilities and equipment
- Perform minor repairs on park structures
- Assist with special events and programs
- Operate maintenance equipment safely
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous maintenance or landscaping experience preferred
- Ability to operate basic maintenance equipment
- Physical ability to perform manual labor
- Valid driver’s license
- Good communication skills
