About the Role
Assist customers with selecting merchandise and checking out. Maintain an organized and inviting store environment. Meet performance goals through teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly upon entering the store
- Stock shelves and displays with current merchandise
- Process transactions using cash, credit/debit and store applications
- Handle returns, exchanges and general customer service
- Keep fitting rooms organized, clean and stocked
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management
- Complete opening/closing duties including cash management
- Promote store credit card program to eligible customers
Requirements
- Minimum 20 hours availability per week on weekends
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills for cash transactions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Experience with retail POS systems (Register Pro/NetSuite)
- Availability for morning cashier shifts
- Must pass background check due to cash handling responsibilities
