About the Role
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial buildings. Ensure electrical safety and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Install wiring for lighting, heating, and cooling systems.
- Maintain electrical systems and repair defects.
- Conduct electrical tests and perform diagnoses.
- Install and maintain voice, video, and data communications systems.
- Ensure all work is in compliance with local and national codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide technical support and training to junior electricians.
Requirements
- Completion of an apprenticeship program.
- Active electrician’s license.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment.
- Experience with a variety of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations.
