About the Role
Join our vibrant restaurant team as a Daytime Server at The Garden Bistro. Focus on delivering exceptional customer service through precise order taking, friendly conversation, and upselling seasonal specialties.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and with a warm demeanor
- Accurately take food and drink orders
- Set tables, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on menu specials
- Suggest complementary wine or beverage pairings
- Process checks and return balances quickly
- Provide feedback on new menu items
- Maintain high hygiene standards and cleanliness
Requirements
- Previous restaurant service or hospitality experience
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to engage with guests
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of local food and drink trends
- Basic knowledge of restaurant POS systems helpful
- Valid food handler’s permit required
- Experience with health inspections preferred
