About the Role
Provide patient care, monitor health conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing simple clinical tasks
- Dress wounds, give injections, and assist with medical procedures
- Monitor patient health and report changes to supervising RN or physician
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Document patient care and maintain accurate patient records
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current LPN license in the state of employment
- CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
