About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef in leading our kitchen brigade, creating memorable dining experiences, and ensuring consistent, high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations
- Lead the prep cooks and line cooks to ensure service runs smoothly
- Oversee food inventory and ordering
- Menu development and specials creation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to cooks
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or comparable role
- Excellent culinary skills and creativity
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Working knowledge of high-volume restaurant operations
- Proficiency in French cooking techniques and fine dining standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
