About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our inclusive school community. You’ll develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, fostering academic and social-emotional growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs
- Differentiate instruction for diverse learners
- Collaborate with general education teachers
- Monitor and report student progress
- Maintain behavior intervention plans
- Communicate with parents/guardians
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education
- State teaching certification
- 2+ years SPED experience preferred
- Knowledge of IEP process
- Patience and empathy
- Classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt curriculum
