About the Role
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings according to national electrical codes and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install wiring, conduit, circuit breakers, and other electrical components
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues and malfunctions
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
- Ensure that work is in compliance with national and local electrical codes
- Cooperate with other tradespeople to complete projects
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience as an electrician or completion of a certified apprenticeship program
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
