About the Role
As Logistics Coordinator for Freightway Solutions, you’ll manage transportation scheduling and warehouse operations for e-commerce fulfillment. Maximize efficiencies across our shipping network and customer service levels.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily delivery routes for truck drivers
- Optimize warehouse space and materials handling
- Generate load plans and coordinate shipment loading
- Monitor fleet metrics and make adjustments in real-time
- Resolve logistics-related issues with internal or external partners
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Manage vendor relationships with 3PL providers
- Handle documentation for international shipping
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
- 1-3 years logistics coordination experience
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skill
- Forklift certification a plus
- Ability to work independently and make process improvements
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience with TMS or WMS software preferred
- Attention to detail in complex logistics operations
