About the Role
Bright Horizons Elementary seeks a passionate 3rd Grade Teacher to inspire young learners. You’ll create engaging lesson plans, foster a safe classroom environment, and collaborate with parents to support student success. This role is pivotal in building foundational academic and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop standards-aligned lesson plans in math, reading, and science
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations
- Lead parent-teacher conferences twice annually
- Implement individualized learning plans for diverse learners
- Supervise recess and lunch periods twice weekly
- Attend monthly professional development workshops
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Elementary Education
- State teaching certification (K-6)
- 1+ years classroom experience (student teaching acceptable)
- Proficiency with Google Classroom tools
- Clear background check and child abuse clearances
- First Aid/CPR certification within 60 days of hire
