Responsibilities
- Plan and teach 5th-8th grade English Language Arts
- Develop engaging curriculum aligned with Common Core standards
- Manage positive classroom environment and student behavior
- Collaborate with special ed team on IEPs
- Provide constructive feedback on writing, reading skills
- Stay current with literacy education trends
Requirements
- California teaching credential (Single Subject)
- Mastery of secondary ELA curriculum
- 2+ years teaching experience
- Strong technology integration skills
- Passion for literacy education
- Child abuse clearance and fingerprinting
