Job Description
About the Role
La Belle Époque seeks Servers to deliver exceptional fine-dining experiences. Candidates must excel in guest relations, multi-tasking, and menu knowledge. This role includes high-value seating (4-6 tables), collaboration with master sommeliers, and VIP clientele interaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide seamless seating/reservation experience
- Accurately document orders via POS system for 5-7 table configurations (30 covers)
- Collaborate with culinary team to upsell appetizers, wine pairings, and desserts
- Handle complex table requests including dietary restrictions and special occasions
- Process payments quickly and accurately using credit/debit card terminals
- Maintain a clean and organized station for optimal service flow
- Restock stations with bar supplies and condiments throughout the shift
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years fine-dining experience preferred
- ServSafe Food Handler certification or equivalent
- Proficiency with POS systems like Toast or OpenTable
- Strong knowledge of wine varietals and pairing strategies
- Excellent communication skills in English-Spanish a plus
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and carry trays up to 45 lbs
