Job Description
About the Role
Conduct cutting-edge research and development of advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning models to solve real-world business challenges. Focus on developing scalable and production-ready AI solutions that push the boundaries of current capabilities. Collaborate with data teams, academics and industry experts to translate research findings into impact.
Responsibilities
- Develop and prototype novel AI/ML models using TensorFlow, PyTorch or other frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define model applications addressing real-world business challenges
- Optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning, architecture exploration and performance metrics monitoring
- Evaluate data availability, limitations and techniques to improve model accuracy
- Implement scalable model architectures to enable deployment in production environments
- Disseminate research findings through publications, patents, blog posts or industry talks
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote knowledge sharing across teams
- Stay abreast of cutting-edge AI/ML developments through networking and collaboration
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI or related field
- 4+ years industry experience in AI/ML research and development
- Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
- Strong mathematical understanding of algorithms and modeling techniques
- Experience working with large-scale data environments and cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated track record of published research in top ML/AI/Computer Vision/NLP conferences
- Excellent communication skills to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
