Repair and maintain passenger vehicles by performing diagnostic tasks, replacing parts, and ensuring vehicles adhere to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle issues.
- Replace and install vehicle components and accessories.
- Follow all safety protocols and standards for vehicle repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections for vehicle performance.
- Communicate repair needs and quotes to vehicle owners.
- Document all performed repairs and maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in automotive repair or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to work with various vehicle makes and models.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to stand and work in a garage environment for extended periods.
