About the Role
Provide essential patient care under nurse supervision in a skilled nursing facility. Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and comfort. Document care accurately and collaborate with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Help residents with mobility and ambulation
- Serve meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Observe and report changes in resident conditions
- Maintain clean and sanitary resident areas
- Follow infection control protocols
Requirements
- Valid state CNA certification
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Physical ability to lift/move patients
- Compassion for elderly populations
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
