About the Role
Oversee inventory management and order picking/packing operations at our Phoenix warehouse. Coordinate with transportation providers to schedule inbound/outbound shipments, manage warehouse staff schedules and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and order forecasting
- Process purchase orders through warehouse management systems
- Train and supervise warehouse staff on safety protocols
- Resolve logistics issues that arise during shipping/receiving
- Conduct cycle counts and annual physical inventory
- Implement process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency
- Maintain relationships with transportation providers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Highly organized with excellent multi-tasking capabilities
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety guidelines
- Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
