About the Role
Heritage Hospitality Group seeks a Front Desk Agent for our historic Boston property. You’ll handle guest check-ins, itinerary planning, and problem resolution while creating memorable first impressions. This role serves as the communication hub for guests, housekeeping, and event teams in a premium hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Process reservations and check-ins via property system
- Handle cash/cc transactions confidently
- Respond to guest inquiries and complaints
- Coordinate with housekeeping on room readiness
- Promote hotel amenities and local experiences
- Balance daily cash drawer summary
- Perform security/night audit functions
Requirements
- Hospitality/tourism education or 1 year experience
- Opera PMS proficiency (training provided)
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Clear speaking voice and professional presentation
- Flexibility for rotating shifts (incl. weekends)
- Ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Knowledge of Boston attractions
