About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care facility. The role involves providing direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in patients’ lives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Document patient care and report changes to RNs or physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state
- 1+ years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Compassion and patience for elderly patients
- Basic computer skills for electronic health records
