About the Role
Deliver engaging instruction for K-5 students while fostering a positive learning environment. Collaborate with staff to implement curriculum standards and support student development.
Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with state standards
- Assess student progress through formative/summative evaluations
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians
- Participate in IEP meetings and accommodations
- Organize supplemental learning activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification
- 2+ years classroom experience preferred
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction
- Proficiency with classroom technology
- CPR/First Aid certification
