About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Inspecting and repairing plumbing and electrical systems.
- Maintaining building facilities and common areas.
- Handling emergency maintenance calls.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
- Ordering and managing maintenance supplies.
- Conducting periodic inspections of buildings.
- Documenting maintenance and repair work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or vocational training.
- Prior experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lifting.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies.
- Certification in HVAC and plumbing (preferred).
