About the Role
Join our dealership as an Automotive Technician, specializing in vehicle diagnostics and maintenance. You’ll work on a range of makes/models while providing exceptional customer service and mechanical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose automotive issues using computer-based diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, brake repairs, and tune-ups
- Repair mechanical components including engines, transmissions, and suspensions
- Inspect vehicles to identify issues beyond customer complaints
- Order and maintain a clean inventory of parts
- Advise customers on repair options and preventive maintenance
- Adhere to safety protocols when working on moving vehicles
- Collaborate with dealership team for optimal customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma
- ASE certification preferred but not required
- 2+ years experience in automotive repair
- Detail-oriented and mechanically inclined
- Basic hand tool and diagnostic equipment skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction
- Working knowledge of modern automotive technologies
