About the Role
Develop autonomy stack for warehouse logistics robots. Spearhead motion planning algorithm research while improving human-robot interaction safety. Your innovations will navigate thousands of robots in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Design ROS-based perception and navigation systems
- Optimize SLAM algorithms for varied warehouse layouts
- Develop simulation models using Gazebo/Isaac
- Lead hardware-software integration testing
- Implement safety protocols for collaborative robotics
- Mentor junior robotics engineers
- Contribute to patent applications
Requirements
- PhD or MS in Robotics/Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years professional robotics experience
- C++/Python mastery with ROS expertise
- Deep understanding of sensor fusion (LiDAR/cameras)
- Motion planning and controls background
- Embedded systems development exposure
- Warehouse automation experience preferred
