Job Description
About the Role
Provide essential patient care at Cedar Ridge Care Center under RN direction. Support resident activities of daily living and enhance quality of life. Document health metrics and behavioral changes while maintaining a compassionate, therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs including temperature and blood pressure
- Support mobility assistance using gait belts and proper transfer techniques
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Serve meals and assist with feeding when necessary
- Maintain resident room cleanliness and organizational standards
Requirements
- Active Oregon CNA certification in good standing
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 6+ months experience in long-term care setting preferred
- Physical stamina for prolonged standing and frequent bending
- Compassionate demeanor and strong team collaboration
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Reliable transportation for assigned shift schedule
