About the Role
The City of Seattle seeks a Parks Maintenance Worker to maintain public parks and recreational facilities. You’ll perform landscaping, repairs, and general maintenance to ensure safe, attractive public spaces.
Responsibilities
- Mow lawns and maintain landscaping
- Clean and maintain park facilities
- Perform minor repairs to equipment
- Remove litter and debris
- Operate light maintenance vehicles
- Assist with special event setups
- Follow safety protocols
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic landscaping/maintenance skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
- Good teamwork skills
- Availability for weekend shifts
