About the Role
Join our Retail Analytics team as a Senior Data Scientist driving consumer insights. Lead predictive modeling projects to optimize inventory, pricing and promotions.
Responsibilities
- Develop ML models to forecast seasonal demand + sales trends
- Extract insights from multi-billion row retail datasets
- Partner with product teams on pricing optimization strategies
- Create interactive dashboards visualizing sales performance
- Lead A/B testing frameworks for marketing campaign effectiveness
- Validate machine learning assumptions through data simulations
- Mentor junior data analysts + intern program
- Present actionable recommendations to executive leadership
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science/Stats/Applied Math
- 5+ years experience in quantitative retail analytics roles
- Strong expertise in Python + SQL programming
- Knowledge of statistical modeling + experimental design
- Proven experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark)
- Deep familiarity with ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
- Excellent communication of complex data to non-technical stakeholders
