About the Role
Marriott International is seeking a Front Desk Agent for our Orlando hotel. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Your role is vital to creating memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and complete check-in/check-out procedures
- Handle reservations and manage room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts
- Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
- Upsell additional services when appropriate
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in hospitality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and hotel software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Problem-solving abilities
