About the Role
Denver Parks & Recreation seeks a maintenance worker to preserve public spaces. You’ll perform groundskeeping, equipment repairs, and seasonal preparations across our 200+ acre park system.
Responsibilities
- Mow and irrigate lawns
- Repair park structures
- Remove snow/debris
- Operate landscaping equipment
- Monitor playground safety
- Apply pesticides (certification provided)
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical stamina
- Basic carpentry skills
- Knowledge of horticulture
- Weekend availability
- High school diploma
