About the Role
Substitute for absent teachers in various subject areas and grade levels, provide educational instruction and manage classroom dynamics, and support the overall educational process
Responsibilities
- Provide lessons to students in the absence of regular teachers.
- Implement lesson plans and conduct classroom activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback when applicable.
- Follow school policies and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and students.
- Handle routine classroom duties, including attendance and behavior records.
- Provide additional instructional support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree and/or relevant teaching certificate.
- Experience teaching or working with children preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt to various teaching styles and subjects.
- Patient and flexible approach.
- Knowledge of educational standards and technology.
- Background check required.
- Physical ability to manage a classroom.
