About the Role
Provide compassionate care to residents in our assisted living facility. Assist with daily living activities under nurse supervision while maintaining resident dignity. This role directly impacts quality of life for our elderly community members.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Help with mobility assistance and transfers
- Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Document care provided in electronic records
- Observe and report changes in resident condition
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks
- Support therapeutic activities program
Requirements
- Valid Oregon CNA certification
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience with elderly care preferred
- Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
- Valid background check clearance
- Empathetic and patient demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED
