Job Description
About the Role
Provide essential patient care at Mercy General Hospital as a CNA. Support RNs with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure patient comfort in our 300-bed facility.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs
- Help patients with mobility and transfers
- Document care provided in EHR system
- Respond to patient call lights
- Stock medical supplies
- Assist with feeding when needed
- Maintain clean patient environment
Requirements
- Active CNA certification in state
- High school diploma or GED
- BLS certification
- 6+ months healthcare experience
- Physical stamina for 12-hour shifts
- Compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends
