About the Role
Bright Future Academy seeks an enthusiastic 3rd Grade Teacher to inspire young learners. You’ll develop engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards while fostering social-emotional growth. This role impacts our mission to close achievement gaps in underserved communities.
Responsibilities
- Create differentiated literacy/math lessons
- Implement positive behavior support systems
- Administer formative assessments
- Maintain parent communication via conferences/portals
- Lead after-school tutoring twice weekly
- Collaborate with special education team
- Organize classroom supplies and technology
Requirements
- Valid Florida teaching certificate (K-6)
- ESOL endorsement preferred
- 2+ years classroom experience
- Proficiency with Google Classroom
- Training in trauma-informed practices
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Ability to pass background check
