About the Role
Oversee the maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and facilities within a large-scale industrial environmen. Coordinate work schedules, manage budgets, and enforce compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and train a team of maintenance technicians
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime
- Manage maintenance budgets and track expenses
- Ensure compliance with OHS and industrial regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Report performance metrics and make data-driven decisions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Technical knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery
- Proficiency in maintenance software and planning tools
- Ability to manage budgets and track expenses
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes demanding environment
