About the Role
Provide a warm, welcoming experience for guests from check-in to checkout. Process reservations, payments, and special requests while creating personalized connections that build loyalty to our 4-star resort.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival, answer questions and provide helpful information
- Check guests in/out efficiently while upselling resort amenities
- Process reservation requests, cancellations and special requirements
- Manage room assignments, housekeeping coordination and inventory
- Handle billing, payments and address any guest billing disparities
- Assist guests with restaurant reservations, event ticket purchases
- Maintain communication with hotel departments (housekeeping, concierge)
- Resolve guest complaints and escalate issues promptly as needed
- Operate guest services software, credit card payment processing
- Provide tour suggestions, cultural recommendations and off-property referrals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in hospitality front desk or customer service
- Strong multitasking, organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency using hotel reservation systems (Opera, Oracle, Micros/Fidelio)
- Knowledge of luxury hotel operations, VIP guest handling
- Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills with diverse guests
- Ability to pass background check
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including peak evenings and weekends
