About the Role
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with electrical codes. Provide troubleshooting and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical systems in commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Initiate troubleshooting and repairs for electrical issues
- Conduct regular inspections for electrical safety
- Ensure all work is up to code and follows safety guidelines
- Provide training and support to apprentices
Requirements
- Completion of electrician apprenticeship program
- Valid state electrician license
- Experience with commercial electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems an asset
