About the Role
Quality Assurance Engineer- Finance responsible for ensuring the efficacy, accuracy, and reliability of financial software applications. To identify and resolve defects in the application software through strategic testing, quality assurance techniques and continuous monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test cases to identify any issues or defects.
- Write clear and concise test documentation.
- Collaborate with development and project teams to enhance understanding of software.
- Monitor and report software defects and track them to their resolution.
- Conduct regression testing for software updates and new features.
- Provide recommendations to improve software and testing processes.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test automation.
- Perform risk assessments and create plans to mitigate risks in QA activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, specifically in financial applications.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium or JUnit.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with financial software and compliance regulations.
- Basic understanding of programming languages, such as Python or Java.
