Job Description
About the Role
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for residential and commercial clients. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and ensure compliance with safety codes. Mentor apprentices and coordinate with construction teams.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Install wiring, lighting systems, and electrical components
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions
- Ensure all work meets NEC standards
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems
- Utilize testing equipment to assess safety
- Train and supervise apprentice electricians
Requirements
- Valid state Journeyman Electrician license
- 5+ years residential/commercial electrical experience
- Thorough knowledge of NEC codes
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work at heights
- Own reliable transportation and standard tools
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
