Job Description
About the Role
Join our Emergency Medical Services team as a Paramedic. Provide pre-hospital care and transport for critically ill/injured patients in Dallas-Fort Worth. Work 24/48 shifts with 4-day flex schedule. Our team is EMTALA-compliant and supports STEMI/Stroke protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using triage protocols and patient history
- Initiate IV lines, administer medications, and perform advanced airway management
- Operate heavy rescue equipment and EMS vehicles safely
- Triangulate GPS locations and navigate through emergency traffic conditions
- Document all treatments and patient transports in ePCR system
- Participate in emergency drills and simulation training monthly
- Maintain CPR/ACLS/PHTLS certifications and continuing education
Requirements
- State EMT-Paramedic certification and license
- National Registry Paramedic (NRP) certification required
- Minimum 3 years ambulance experience in urban trauma systems
- CPR, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS certifications prior to hire
- Valid Texas Class B CDL with air brake/tank endorsements
- Experience with Stryker EMS Suite software
- Ability to lift 110 lbs, bend/crouch/walk up to 80% of shift
