About the Role
Provide preventive dental care and educate patients on oral hygiene as a Dental Hygienist. Work closely with dentists to maintain patient oral health and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Clean teeth, examine patients for signs of oral diseases
- Remove plaque and tartar
- Apply sealants and fluorides to help prevent decay
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Provide patients with instructions on oral hygiene, including how to brush and floss effectively
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene
- Valid state license to practice dental hygiene
- CPR certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and manual dexterity
