About the Role
Join our diverse high school as a long-term substitute math teacher, providing exceptional instruction to students grades 9-12.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with state standards
- Assess students’ progress and provide timely feedback
- Maintain a safe and productive learning environment
- Collaborate with the permanent teacher to ensure classroom continuity
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Proven teaching experience or relevant coursework
- Ability to obtain a substitute teaching license
- Strong content knowledge and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and supporting diverse student population
