About the Role
We’re seeking a creative Pastry Chef to lead our bakery department at an upscale hotel. You’ll design dessert menus, oversee production, and maintain quality standards while inspiring a team of bakers.
Responsibilities
- Develop seasonal dessert menus
- Supervise pastry kitchen staff
- Maintain food cost targets
- Ensure quality/presentation standards
- Order ingredients/supplies
- Comply with health regulations
- Train new pastry team members
- Create specialty/decorative items
Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years pastry experience
- Artistic presentation skills
- Knowledge of specialty diets
- Ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with bakery software
- Sanitation certification
