Job Description
About the Role
We’re hiring Production Operators to join our Columbus, OH manufacturing team. Operate state-of-the-art equipment, comply with strict quality standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Shifts available: 1st/2nd (Mon-Fri) and 3rd (weekends only).
Responsibilities
- Perform routine machine operations for plastic injection molding
- Maintain clean workspace and conduct machine lubricant checks
- Inspect final products for defects using micrometers and calipers
- Document daily production metrics into MES system (SPC charts)
- Collaborate with team leaders to resolve operational inefficiencies
- Follow all plant safety protocols and EPA guidelines
- Participate in 6 Sigma/Lean workshops for operational excellence
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in manufacturing/assembly line environments preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Familiarity with SAP MES or similar systems
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Willingness to work varying shifts (1st/2nd/3rd)
- Adhere to confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements
