About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate High School Math Teacher to join Riverdale High School. You’ll teach algebra, geometry, and calculus while fostering critical thinking skills. This role includes lesson planning, student assessment, and participation in school activities.
Responsibilities
- Develop engaging lesson plans
- Teach 5 daily classes
- Assess student progress
- Participate in staff meetings
- Provide after-school tutoring
- Maintain classroom discipline
Requirements
- BA in Mathematics or Education
- State teaching certification
- 2+ years teaching experience
- Strong classroom management skills
- Knowledge of Common Core standards
