About the Role
Mid-level special education teacher needed for K-5 students with diverse learning needs. Develop IEPs and collaborate with support staff to create inclusive classroom environments.
Responsibilities
- Implement IEPs for 12 students
- Adapt curriculum for varying abilities
- Coordinate with speech/OT therapists
- Track academic/social progress
- Lead parent-teacher conferences
- Manage classroom paraeducators
- Attend multidisciplinary team meetings
Requirements
- Valid MA SPED certification
- 2+ years K-5 SPED experience
- CPI certification (or obtain within 90 days)
- Sheltered English Immersion endorsement
- ABA methodology knowledge
- Data tracking proficiency
- Valid CORI/SORI clearance
