About the Role
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that all electrical systems are safe and up to code, providing essential services to residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
- Inspect electrical components to identify issues and hazards.
- Repair or replace defective electrical wiring or equipment.
- Ensure compliance with national, state, and local building codes.
- Provide expert advice on electrical issues to clients.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects.
Requirements
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
- Valid electrician license in the state of employment.
- Previous experience in electrical work.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Ability to work in various environments, including heights.
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
