About the Role
Lead development of utility-scale solar and storage projects from site acquisition through commissioning. Navigate regulatory processes, manage contractors, and ensure projects meet technical and financial targets. Form strategic partnerships for project portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Manage project timelines and $50M+ budgets
- Oversee environmental permitting and zoning
- Negotiate land lease agreements
- Coordinate engineering design reviews
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships
- Ensure OSHA compliance at construction sites
- Develop commissioning and handover plans
- Create investment memos for senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field
- PMP certification preferred
- 8+ years energy project management experience
- Grid-scale renewable project experience
- Knowledge of interconnection processes
- Financial modeling capability
- Contract negotiation expertise
- Travel: 40% to project sites nationwide
