Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality care to patients. You will work under the supervision of RNs and doctors, administer medications, and monitor patient vital signs.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
- Answer patient queries and provide emotional support
- Assist patients with daily living activities and rehabilitation exercises
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Valid LPN license in the state
- Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and medical terminology
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
