About the Role
Support teacher(s) by providing instructional and classroom management assistance, primarily for students with special learning needs and IEP requirements
Responsibilities
- Work in co-teaching environment grades 1-5
- Support students needing help following teacher directions
- Assist with IEP management
- Help maintain classroom structure
- Support learning centers, activities, and independent learning
- Ensure a safe environment and monitor student behavior
Requirements
- AA in education or child development (or equivalent),
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience working with school-age children
- Strong technology skills for Google Classroom integration
- Pass DMV level-2 background check
- Fluent in Spanish preferred
