About the Role
Deliver exceptional customer experiences at Coastal Outfitters’ flagship store. Assist customers with apparel selections, process transactions efficiently, and maintain merchandise displays. Become knowledgeable about outdoor gear and clothing to provide expert advice.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and identify needs
- Demonstrate product features and benefits
- Process payments using POS system
- Maintain sales floor organization
- Manage fitting room area
- Stock merchandise and update displays
- Meet individual sales goals
Requirements
- Retail experience preferred but not required
- Flexibility to work weekends/evenings
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Friendly customer service attitude
- Basic computer skills
- Physical ability to lift 30+ pounds
- Interest in outdoor activities
