About the Role
Protect an organization’s information systems from cyber threats. Monitor and analyze security incidents. Implement security measures to prevent and respond to cyberattacks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems for breaches or intrusions
- Analyze security data to identify threats and vulnerabilities
- Implement security measures to protect against cyberattacks
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability tests
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a cybersecurity analyst
- Knowledge of security tools (e.g., IDS, IPS, SIEM)
- Experience with security protocols and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus
- Experience with incident response procedures
