About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Bright Futures Academy. This role involves teaching a diverse group of students, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
- Assess and record students’ progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student development
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Supervise students during class and during extracurricular activities
- Integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance learning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification
- Strong classroom management skills
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology
